Job Description

Responsibilities

▪ Develop the annual/multi-year plan for production, operational, and commercial activities, monitor the achieved results, compile periodic reports on performance, and plan future development strategies, including coordinating and optimizing an company's operational and project activities to make them more effective and functional for the business.

▪ Identify and analyze problematic situations in operational and industrial management (purchasing, warehouses, production management), provide solutions for growth and development of the company, and prevent backlog situations.

▪ Manage and streamline the supply chain through process improvement initiatives in production and the optimization of all inbound and outbound logistics activities.

▪ Oversee activities and functions to ensure the achievement of results in compliance with company policies, guidelines, as well as the corporate strategy and mission.

▪ Define investment, development, and management plans for submission to the Board of Directors (BoD), completing the restructuring process and maintaining responsibility for annual budgeting activities and achieving the expected results, with the aim of increasing EBITDA.

▪ Support the integration process between Italy and the Netherlands and future M&A projects.

▪ Optimize the organizational structure in terms of managerial effectiveness and efficiency to ensure the achievement of company objectives.

▪ Maintain strong and daily relationships with key stakeholders, becoming the reference point for the BoD.

▪ Lead the operations function in setting objectives for maximizing value added to the organization through new technologies and skills, including the introduction of practices from a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) approach, and ensuring continuous improvement of internal operational processes.

▪ Ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines in line with company objectives while maintaining flexibility in responding to customer requests.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

▪ Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

▪ Strong skills and extensive experience in operations management, production, and supply chain, with a consistent and cohesive professional background gained in production contexts, preferably with a solid background in mechanical engineering and assembly.

▪ Familiarity with various business functions; the ideal profile is a technical professional who has grown in production contexts in general management or business unit management roles with full P&L responsibility.

▪ Deep understanding of industrial processes, ideally with a good knowledge of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean approaches gained in custom manufacturing within the mechanical sector (preferably in the crane or lifting systems industry).

▪ Leadership and problem-solving abilities accompanied by charisma, authority, and a strong capacity and habit of motivating team members.

▪ Fluent knowledge of the Italian and English languages.
