Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Decide, together with the CEO, and independently manage the BU sales strategyReach agreed revenue and profitability target▪Manage resources and capabilitiesMaintain key clients' relationship and capture potential leadsKey activities & tasks:Segment and prioritize the customers' baseCreate area commercial plans to exploit cross-sellingApprove budget for the related business geographyPrepare sales reportingCapture customers feedback and act accordinglyDefine objective and goals for sales managersRun periodic review with sales managersDefine and review sales forecastDefine and validate pricing & discount strategiesParticipate in the strategic planning process and periodical company meetingsSupport sell-out effort of key distributorsSustain team coaching and training to improve sales force effectiveness and proactivityParticipate in local and international events
Key interfaces:CEO: coordinate and submit the commercial issues arising, overall strategies and business opportunities (e.g., new market geographies) for the approvalMarketing Director: provide input for new product strategies and market feedback on existing onesHead of Operations: provide accurate sales forecast to efficiently plan the production and manage efficiently logistics and stock availabilityOther geographies' Heads of Sales: cooperate in order to define a common and consistent framework for pricing & discount strategies and commercial practice to be submitted to the CEO for approvalHead of Customer Care: share of customer feedback & insights
The Successful Applicant
Required and skills:
At least 10+ years of "Sales Manager" or "Head of Sales experience" within multinational companies and players leader in building automation systems.Demonstrable experience in international sales management and business developmentExcellent communication skills and people management skills across all levelsDemonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration in a team environment.Strategic and futuristic thinkerProactivity and negotiationAvailability to travelKPIs:Top Line growth & BU profitabilityRevenue growth by product, clients, and managed countriesLevel of customers' satisfaction
