BIM Manager Coordinator

Description

Building Information Modeling focuses on a range of engineering disciplines e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, automation, asset information management, life cycle information, design coordination and software engineering regarding reference designation systems.

The activities associated with Building Information Modeling include: discipline engineering and design in BIM tools; planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment) and engineering discipline coordination throughout the project life cycle according to ISO19650.

Key areas of responsibility:

• BIM Engineering development: Ensuring that BIM Eng. is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included.

• Leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.

• Driving completion of all BIM Engineering activities on the project and tenders.

• Coordinating engineering discipline across several projects through BIM Coordination meetings according to ISO19650.

• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities through the use of BIM tools and Common Data Environment.

• Designing and conducting experiments, analyzing, and interpreting the data in Revit or Dynamo.

• Preparing complete BIM project documents in area of responsibility.

• May act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline.

• Providing cost effective quality solutions and delivering within budget and contract.

• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.

• Creating work plans and cost estimates. Reviewing and approving scope, budget, and schedule for assignments.

• Interacting directly with customers, officials, contractors, and supply chain.

Your background:

• Good communication skills to build up the interfaces between all involved parties and disciplines in the project lifecycle

• Strong knowledge of BIM methodology process and tools. 

• Very good in handling coordination tools like Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud.

• Good understanding about the dependencies between the disciplines

• Good communication skills to collaborate very efficiently to all project discipline responsible

• Industry specific knowledge of Hitachi Energy solutions preferred but not mandatory

• At least 3 years of previous experience

• Fluent in Italian and English languages
