We are currently looking for 1st Assistant (equivalent of Deputy Offshore Construction Manager - Assistant Superintendent) to join our team.

Job Title: 1st Assistant

Location: Italy - Offshore Projects

Job Mission:

To coordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, to ensure efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Offshore Construction Manager regarding interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board. Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, regarding the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, to comply with the quality and safety standard. Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases. Ensure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status. Liaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities. Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production.

Job Requirements:

Preferably with Technical High School Diploma or civil, mechanical, electrical or naval engineering background Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. 6-7 years of previous experience in Oil and Gas industry (must have offshore previous experience). 4 years of experience in the role of 1st Assistant (Deputy Offshore Construction Manager - Assistant Superintendent, Assistant OCM - Barge foreman)
