Grants & Incentives Consultant

RINA is currently recruiting for a Grants & Incentives Consultant to join its office in Genoa, Rome, Milan - Italy, within the Materials, Technology & Innovation Division.

We are looking for a Consultant on Grants and Incentives to join RINA’s Industry Division, who will deal with management consulting activities in several sectors (e.g., manufacturing, O&G, energy, public entities). #LI-AC2

The ideal candidate will deal with strategic consultancy and subsidized finance projects. 

Main activities will be:

• Design of clients’ strategy to access funding and incentives 
• Managing the design, financing and implementation of investments proposals  
• Preparation of application files for private entities aiming to access grants and incentives (e.g. PNRR, EU funds, state aid, etc.); 
• Study of market dynamics, the competitive context and best practices of an industrial sector; 
• Financial due diligence; 
• Capacity building and ad hoc training activities and workshops with relevance to the above; 
• Analysis of the main levers of value creation, industrial, economic and financial indicators; 
• Management of customer relationships and identification of business opportunities; 

• Bachelor Degree in Economics or Engineering ; 
• Up to 5 years of working experience in accessing non-refundable funds or project work within national and/or public institutions, preferably gained in a consultancy field; 
• Experience in how to relate to the C-Suite; 
• Other relevant skills in the coordination, supervision and quality assurance of complex projects typical of the subsidized finance sector (i.e. preparation and presentation of project applications within national and European financing programmes; management and technical-financial reporting of projects financed by public funds; control and evaluation of projects financed by public funds, etc.) will be considered as strong plus 
• Knowledge of the operating mechanisms, Euro-planning tools and management of European funds; 
• Knowledge of typical services of subsidized finance; 
• Knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
