Store & Events Designer

Your Mission

For our Panerai HQ based in Milan, we are looking for a Store & Event Designer who will be responsible for all the design/development process of pop up stores as well as the design of new merchandising material and special projects.

How will you make an impact 

The Store & Event Designer will support in the:

• Development of design concepts for pop up stores, shop windows and VM materials
• Estimation and executive’s drawings checking to ensure a proper process on each project. Support of the lay-out for setting up local Events
• He/ She will support the VM team in the materials production and in the management of external suppliers and vendors
• At global level, he/she will support Panerai subsidiaries in the Visual design of local events and customer made local projects
• Visual Display design, Pop-up design, Events Design (Hubs, SIHH, special booths)
• Support on the lay-out for setting up local Events
• Local survey to follow event’s installations when requested
• Develop creative briefs for events in coordination with other internal departments involved in the process. Provide complete and accurate technical documentation (tender documents, presentations, mood boards, etc.)
• Review event design proposals submitted by the event agencies involved or markets, focusing on the correct use of brand identity and compliance with the event concept, tone of voice and type of event
• Analyse technical details and overall quality of elements, with a focus on materials and finishes and considering budget constraints
• Oversee the production phase to ensure both quality and aesthetic outcome, ensuring excellence in the execution and full compliance with project brief, timing and budget
• Produce event guidelines that scale global events down to regional and local executions, supporting regional and local teams
• When needed, create spatial designs and deliver accurate design packages and compelling documentation for event production, directly coordinating external consultants and suppliers
• Establish and nurture positive and strong relationships with all company departments involved (retail and product marketing, communication, logistics, purchasing, finance etc.) and external agencies and suppliers

How will you experience success 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Architecture
• 2+ years experience in a similar position in Brand Company, or Communication Agencies
• Software: Rhinoceros, Keyshot, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office (excellent on PowerPoint is a plus) Mac and Windows environment
• Strong sensibility to the image, aesthetic taste and creativity.
• Ability to work in team and flexibility
• Fluency in Italian and English 

Interview process

2nd Stage – Interview with our HR department. 

3rd Stage – Interview with Head of Store Design & Planning
4th Stage - An additional interview/business case with peers may be necessary.
