Mechanical Tester Contract Type: Permanent Country: ITALY Location: Parma Your opportunity:
  • Sidel is looking for a Mechanical Test Engineer for testing equipment with experience in packaging industry.
  • He/she is responsible for the test and qualification of Filler equipments in conformity to Technical, Contractual and Safety specifications.
Your Mission:
  • Test machine mechanical performances at Sidel production plant, based on Technical, Contractual and Safety specifications.
  • Analyze, manage and solve issues that can be detected during mechanical functional tests to deliver the equipment on time and without defects to Sidel customer.
  • Deliver the proper technical documentation filled in as final testing report.
  • Interact with other functions to solve all possible issues and propose improvements in machine functionalities.
  • Develop or implement when needed in agreement with technical department specific modifications, settings and tuning to allow issues resolution.
  • Define in agreement with engineering department the best test procedure to internally qualify Sidel equipment.
  • Upon request can perform or support start-up of Filler machine at customer site.
Your Profile:
  • Mechanical design analysis and understanding (2D and 3D)
  • Experience in assembling and testing complex machinery,
