Mechatronic Testing Engineer

Dana is looking to hire a smart and motivated testing engineer to contribuite to the design validation from concept to production of actuation system and its components used on Transmission applications.

Main Opportunities and Challenges

Opportunity to work with prestigious OEM and suppliers on innovative and complex High Performance Transmission products in fast-paced working environment of a Global Organisation

- To handle the design validation plan (DVP) of actuation system for high performance transmissions.

- To perform test on bench & data postprocessing

- To support testing activities performed in external lab

- Issue of testing report and discussion with customer

- To supervisioning activities of assigned validation resources (technicians and engineers)

- To work alongside Virtual Validation, Design and Quality departments to ensure the testing outcome meets technical and package targets in line with customer requirements

Education:  Three-year degree in Business (Vehicle, mechanical, mechatronics engineering or a related field. 

Professional Background:

Proven ability to design, develop and validate mechatronics systems acquired covering similar role in automotive, aeronautical or industrial companies for at least 5 years

Hard Skills

Essential:

• Ability in the design and development of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic actuation system. Strong knowledge of mechanics and phisic.
• Data analysis and basic programming skills.
• Team leader skills (both technical & personal)
• Knowledge of mechanical design and automotive transmissions concepts
• Good understanding of mechanical, electric and hydraulic schemes.
• Proficient in both English and Italian.

Considered as a plus:

• Simulation software and datalog tools (Amesim, Matlab, CANape)
  Gears calculations of mechanical transmissions
  Data analysis and basic programming skills
  Understanding of electromechanical principles
  Hydraulic experience / knowledge
