About PausePay PausePay is a B2B fintech company that offers a SaaS platform for invoice-based “Buy Now, Pay Later” for businesses. We integrate into merchants’ checkout and invoicing flows so that sellers can collect the full amount of an order or invoice upfront, while their B2B customers pay later in one or more instalments, without using a credit card. PausePay takes on and manages the credit risk, leveraging open banking, advanced credit scoring and a dedicated funding SPV to automate payments, collections and risk management.   Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Junior/Mid Full Stack Developer with a strong interest in UX/UI to join our product team. You will work across the stack on our B2B SaaS platform – mainly on our web application and back-end services – and help shape a clean, intuitive user experience for merchants and business customers. You’ll collaborate closely with the product manager and senior developer, contributing both to feature development and interface design, making sure the platform is reliable, easy to use and visually consistent.   Responsibilities • Develop and maintain features on our B2B SaaS platform across the stack (front-end and back-end). • Collaborate with product manager and senior developer to design and implement new flows (onboarding, dashboards, checkout, admin tools, etc.). • Translate UX/UI ideas and Figma designs into clean, responsive front-end code (mainly Angular). • Help improve the overall UX/UI of the platform: navigation, dashboard layout, filters, forms, error states, and data visualisation. • Contribute to and extend our design system in Figma and ensure consistency between design and implementation. • Integrate and maintain APIs and services (Node.js/Express, MongoDB, external providers such as open banking, KYC, payments, etc.). • Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to ensure quality and performance. • Analyse user feedback and basic usage data together with the team to iterate on product improvements.   Qualifications   Must-have • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interaction Design or related field or equivalent practical experience. • 1–3 years of experience as a developer (internships and junior roles included) working on web applications. • Solid knowledge of basic front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript). • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework; Angular is a strong plus. • Basic back-end development experience, ideally with Node.js + Express or similar. • Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL/SQL databases. • Experience with Figma (at least 1 year), with the ability to work on and expand existing design systems and Figma pages for PausePay. • Understanding of UX principles, user-centred design and responsive design. • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity and willingness to learn quickly. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.   Nice-to-have • Experience with the MEAN stack (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node.js). • Experience with Ionic for hybrid or mobile apps. • Previous exposure to SaaS products, B2B tools or fintech/financial services. • Basic familiarity with cloud deployment (e.g. Heroku or similar platforms). • Interest in data visualisation and designing dashboards for business users.   What We Offer • The opportunity to grow and develop in the fintech industry with mentorship from experienced professionals. • Hands-on experience on real, impactful projects that shape the user experience of B2B financial solutions. • A collaborative, informal and supportive work environment with a culture of innovation and experimentation. • Flexible remote working, with some days required in the office (London) to foster team collaboration and project alignment. • Competitive salary and benefits package, aligned with experience and skills. luca@pausepay.it
