DOGA has more than 60 years of experience in the development and production of automotive components. With affiliated companies in Italy, USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, India and Morocco we sale our products to more than 70 countries and operate in multiple markets, including industrial vehicles, buses, trains, agriculture and construction machinery, boats, motorcycles and passenger cars.


We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Italy subsidiary, reporting directly to our Engineering Manager. As a member of DOGA's design department, he/she will be responsible for the design and optimization of vehicle components and systems, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the creation of innovative products that comply with quality standards and automotive industry regulations.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Design mechanical/automotive components and systems using PTC CREO CAD software as of preferred software.
  • Define technical specifications and project requirements in collaboration with production, and quality teams.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve vehicle performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Analyze and verify the technical feasibility of projects, considering cost, weight, and material constraints.
  • Collaborate in the prototyping phase and support production to ensure correct project execution.
  • Ensure that designs comply with international regulations and safety requirements.
  • Resolve any technical issues and propose solutions for continuous product improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and innovations in the automotive sector.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Degree or higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a designer role within the automotive sector.
  • Experience using CAD and CAE software.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials technologies and automotive production processes.
  • Skills in 3D modeling.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulations (IATF 16949).
  • Good knowledge of the English language is a must.
