As Director of F&B and reporting to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for the supervision and strategic development of all F&B activities. This is a key position for supporting the growth of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. Job Description Supervises compliance with local and company health regulations (HACCP, occupational safety etc). Defines and implements, in collaboration with the Managing Director and Hotel Manager, the department's medium- to long-term strategy, including positioning, gastronomic branding and operating model. Oversees forecasting, inventories, food and beverage costs, menu engineering, pricing strategy, and sourcing in synergy with Finance. Manages the CAPEX investment approval and implementation process for the F&B department, ensuring budget and time compliance. Monitors forecast and controls labor cost by ensuring that the department applies proper human resources management with a view to efficiency and budget. Receives and takes responsibility for any complaints from guests, reporting the incident to the stakeholders involved. In concert with Hotel Mng/MD performs all appropriate investigations and follow-up with both guests and Associates involved, implementing corrective actions and monitoring guest satisfaction. Job Requirements A minimum of 10 years' experience in luxury hospitality F&B, with at least 3 years in a similar managerial role. Familiarity with LQA/Forbes standards and operational systems like Opera PMS, Micros, GoAudit, KnowCross or similar. Fluent in both Italian and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A keen eye for detail, polished interpersonal skills, and a natural flair for relationship-building.
