Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, ICN - DCEO AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key Job Responsibilities - Maintain 24/7 operations coverage with flexible scheduling, including rotating shifts - Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders - Operate electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Generators, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans. - Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds and log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)- Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems - Maintain high system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently - Serve as escalation point and provide technical troubleshooting for all environmental and facility issues - Participate in Data Center power and cooling events - Handle and lift equipment manually when required (weight limits follow regulations)- Follow and maintain the highest safety standards while encouraging a world-class safety culture - Participate in emergency drills and support emergency facility event response according to established protocols - Manage procurement for DCEO related expenditure - Responsible for asset and inventory management - Perform replacement of internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devices - 교대 근무를 포함한 유연한 일정 관리로 24시간 연중무휴 운영 범위 유지 - 내부 및 외부 이해관계자의 주요 연락 창구 역할 수행 - 무 정전 전원 공급 장치(UPS), 변압기, 배전반, 차단기, 자동 전환 스위치(ATS), 발전기, 공조설비(HVAC), 배기 팬을 포함한 기계 및 전기 장비 운영 - 일상적인 순찰 및 기록을 통해 모든 기계 및 전기 장비의 일일 운영 수치 측정(온도, 전압, 전류 등)- 내부 서비스 수준 협약(SLA) 내에서 이벤트 문제 해결 - 중요 시스템의 정기 유지보수 및 긴급 서비스 관리 - 장애 티켓의 우선순위 지정 및 효율적 해결을 통한 높은 시스템 신뢰성 유지 - 모든 환경 및 시설 문제에 대한 에스컬레이션 포인트 및 기술 문제 해결 지원 제공 - 데이터 센터 전력 및 냉각 이벤트 참여 - 필요 시 장비 수동 취급 및 운반(중량 제한은 규정 준수)- 세계 수준의 안전 문화를 장려하면서 최고 수준의 안전 기준 준수 및 유지 - 비상 훈련 참여 및 확립된 프로토콜에 따른 긴급 시설 이벤트 대응 지원 - DCEO 관련 지출에 대한 조달 관리 - 자산 및 재고 관리 책임 - 서버 및 네트워크 장비의 내부 및 외부 하드웨어 부품 교체 수행 Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) or equivalent experience - Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts and lift rack equipment up to 20kg and work in cramped spaces or elevated locations using portable ladders while adhering to health & safety guidelines - Fluent in Korean with basic English proficiency Preferred Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of experience in data center or similar industry - Intermediate English communication skills - Knowledge of mechanical (HVAC, Controls) and electrical systems - Professional certifications in electrical, mechanical, or fire protection systems - Valid work authorization in Korea with no restrictions for international travel Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
