JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Radiology Informatics - Data Migration Specialist
Job Description:
As a Data Migration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of data between Philips RI systems and other vendor systems. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to analyze data migration requirements, design and implement migration strategies, and execute data migration tasks.
Your Role:
- Data Migration Analysis:
- Document customer requirements and expectations.
- Gather information on legacy systems and target RI solutions.
- Define data migration strategies and identify potential risks.
- Data Migration Delivery:
- Implement data migration channels and execute migration tasks.
- Perform quality assurance testing and address exceptions.
- Create comprehensive reports and documentation.
You're the Right Fit If:
- Education: University Degree / Master's Degree or equivalent in IT, technical field, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in data migration or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Database expertise (Oracle DBA skills are a plus)
- Development skills (Visual Studio, .NET, Java, J2EE, PL / SQL, C, C++, COM, Web interfaces, XML, SOAP)
- Knowledge of medical standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE)
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis abilities.
- Language Skills: Italian mother tongue and excellent verbal and written English language skills.
