Offer Description

The post is for a three-year period. The annual gross salary is about 37.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Information Processing Systems.

Requested research duties: Research activities in the field of neuro-symbolic integration, aimed at improving the reliability of AI systems based on learning and their semantic alignment with users. Development of causal representation learning techniques to enhance the explainability of learned models and expand the allowed interaction modes.

Requested teaching duties: 20 hours of teaching activities on topics consistent with research activities at the Master's or PhD level, to be decided as part of the Department's annual planning.

Foreign language required: Excellent level of English.

Knowledge of Italian: Level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load (the researcher may be required to teach in Italian).

Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12.
