PLC Engineer Senior

Position: PLC Engineer and Senior PLC Programmers NETtoWORK, an international leader in the construction of machine tools and production lines, is seeking PLC Engineers and senior PLC programmers to join the Software Engineering department. The successful candidate will work in our Software Engineering office, in a dynamic and international environment, actively participating in new product development and/or existing product evolution projects. The role involves direct collaboration with the technical manager and the R&D and plant development department. Requirements: Specialist Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering 1 to 3 years of professional experience Skills: Excellent knowledge of PLCs, particularly SIEMENS Excellent knowledge of HMI/SCADA software development environments for industrial automation and machine tools Familiarity with international standards IEC 61131-3/IEC 61131-3++ with experience in ladder diagrams (LD) and Structured Text (ST) languages Knowledge/Mastery of commercial SIEMENS controllers and the STEP 7 and/or TIA PORTAL development package (or other commercial controllers) Experience with SIEMENS components including servodrives, or other manufacturers (e.g. Beckhoff, Omron, etc.) Understanding of machine safety Knowledge of axis control techniques Ability to coordinate project activities from component determination to software development phase Ability to work collaboratively in a team of designers Proficiency in English; knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus (e.g. German or French) #J-18808-Ljbffr
