Rotating Equipment specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our rotating equipment, ensuring its optimal functionality and performance. Responsibilities Conducting regular inspections and proactively identifying potential issues with rotating equipment Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of our rotating equipment Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, alignment, and calibration, to ensure the reliability of the rotating equipment Monitoring equipment performance indicators, conducting performance tests, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement Training and mentoring junior technicians on maintenance and repair techniques for rotating equipment Collaborating with external vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and installations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Rotating Equipment Specialist or a similar role in the Information Technology and Services industry Strong knowledge of various types of rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, and turbines Familiarity with maintenance management systems and software for tracking equipment performance Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
