The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in the HSE function of an internationally operating group.
Within the HSE department, the ideal candidate will support for HSE projects and activities.
Reporting to HSE Director, the job holder will be accountable for the following:
To provide management support for HSE activities to ensure that company programs are implemented.
To prepare and to assist in the implementation of policies and procedures and prepare regular reports for HSE To support HSE Director in analyzing and researching risks.
To support the implementation of all measures necessary to ensure worker safety and occupational health in accordance with applicable law.
To actively engage with employees and their representatives to communicate HSE policy, solve problems and improve safety culture.
To ensure that all accidents, injuries, environmental permit violations and near misses are thoroughly investigated and recorded.
To support HSE performance monitoring and reporting to be able to provide the global HSE team with all required indicator information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
To support HSE on Safety training, including the internal planning and the planning with the supplier involved
To support HSE Director in managing and implementing the emergency plan.
Bachelor's degree in Prevention Techniques in Environmental and Workplace Safety or a technical-scientific degree
Good knowledge of English
Self-motivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality, personal ethics, tact and diplomacy
