For our sites in Italy (Nichelino and Bergamo), we are looking for an IT Manager who will be accountable for the support to business functions located in Italy, and of the smooth operation of IT applications, data & infrastructure. Collaborating with the Group IT, the role will lead the local IT department and manage the effective delivery and operation of networks, hardware, SW, data processing, support to users and disaster recovery systems and processes.
Partner with Global Applications and Infrastructure teams in the local execution of IT projects, to enable quick and efficient adoption of global solutions at local level
Implement the Global IT strategy and architecture to support the optimization of IT performance in the medium and long term
Implement the Global Cyber Security strategy, risk mitigation planning and execution ensuring effective 24x7 security for the assigned business environment
Explore new and more efficient ways of managing processes and data flows, to continuously improve business operations
Work with colleagues across relevant functions and with external vendors in requirement collections and execution of local projects
YOUR
EXPERIENCE:
Good understanding of how IT components support the business. Proven IT management experience within manufacturing environments in regulated industries (e.g. pharma) Proven experience managing technology infrastructure, systems and support operations Experience supporting manufacturing systems and solutions Demonstrated success in delivering technology projects, system implementations and operational improvements Professional knowledge (written and spoken) of English language Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar Capability to contribute strategically as well as tactically and operationally Strong analytical, planning and team working skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
