Position Overview

Monitor Ocean, Air & Ground shipments from vendors and act as the point of contact for various inbound partners, from freight forwarders to the Distribution Center Operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow up on shipments from vendor departure to Distribution Center delivery, ensuring shipments depart on time, tracking in-transit milestones, confirming delivery, and approving related freight costs.
  • Ensure systems - both RL and Customs - reflect the most updated information and work with partners to resolve possible technical transmission problems.
  • Work with Customs to ensure proper documentation is received, ensuring it is complete and correct, and manage possible issues.
  • Collaborate closely with external and internal partners such as carriers, freight forwarders, buyers, and the global transportation team.
  • Conduct data accuracy reviews.
  • Update system data.
  • Prepare KPI reporting.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Applicant must speak Italian and English.
  • 6-12 months experience in a related role.
  • Good analytical skills required, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Results-oriented with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and an ambition to grow and learn.
