As a Commissioning / Controls Engineer you will be responsible for:
Completing factory acceptance testing of control panels, ensuring systems are produced to specification and wired correctly.
Commissioning electrical systems at power transmission and distribution substations (installs can take 2 days to 2 weeks dependent on project size).
Supporting the project managers and technical leads with the development of the projects, configuration of devices, system design etc
Conducting site installation, testing and commissioning.
As a recognised federal government contractor, they cannot accept applications from residents of embargoed countries such as Iran or North Korea.
The successful Electrical Engineer will possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience installing and commissioning control panels, power panels or switchgear in power generation facilities, substations or power transmission and distribution environments.
Its essential candidates speak intermediate or above level of Italian and English and hold a valid driving license.
Education is Electrical Engineering is beneficial; Exposure to SCADA, ProfiBus, Modbus, DNP3 (Distribution Network Protocol), IEC 61850 would be highly advantageous as would a knowledge of relay protection products.

Based within a 1-hour commute of Milan, Italy ( or willing to relocate to this area )
