Tractel Italiana is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Assistant to join its organization. This position has been created as part of the company's Supply Chain succession plan.

The successful candidate will work closely with the current Supply Chain Manager through a structured onboarding, mentoring and professional development program.
The objective of this development path is to prepare the selected candidate to succeed the current Supply Chain Manager and progressively assume responsibility for the entire Supply Chain & Operations function of Tractel Italiana.

This role will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager

Support purchasing planning and procurement activities.
Analyze inventory levels, consumption trends, KPIs and Supply Chain performance.
Develop and manage relationships with local and international suppliers.
Support logistics, warehouse and workshop operations.
Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Support quality, audit, certification and compliance activities.
Participate in the implementation and development of Microsoft Business Central.

Degree preferably in Management Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Initial significant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations or Demand Planning.
Understanding of core Supply Chain processes and inventory management.
Strong analytical mindset with experience in reporting and KPI monitoring.
Experience in multinational or international environments is considered a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Business Central or equivalent) and Business Intelligence tools is appreciated.
Initial experience coordinating activities, projects or small teams is a plus.

Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
Problem-solving attitude and continuous improvement orientation.
Fluent English. French is considered a plus.
