Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Renewable Energy Rome, Italy (preferred location) A privately backed IPP operating in the renewable energy and storage sector is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team in Italy. The business is supported by long-term, ESG-focused institutional capital and is at an exciting stage of growth, with an active pipeline of renewable and storage projects. The role: Lead financial strategy, governance, and reporting Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash management Support project finance, funding structures, and investor engagement Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and shareholders Build and lead the finance function as the platform scales The ideal profile: 10+ years of experience in similar roles Senior finance leadership experience (CFO / Finance Director level) Background in renewables, energy, infrastructure Strong exposure to project finance and investment-led environments Strategic, hands-on, and comfortable in growth-phase platforms Based in Italy or open to relocation (Rome preferred) If you are a motivated renewable energy professional ready to make an impact in Italy's energy transition, please apply via the link or contact Georgia Sumnall at gsumnall@leap29.com.
