Zo zijn er vandaag een 100-tal medewerkers actief in zeer diverse ICT-functies bij VITO, verspreid over verschillende business units en de centrale ICT dienst.

Voor het team Internal Data & Application Services, dat deel uitmaakt van de centrale ICT dienst, zijn we op zoek naar een team leader. De focus van het 12-koppig team ligt op het aanbieden van betrouwbare, performante en veilige ICT applicaties, dashboards, websites en bijhorende services ter ondersteuning van de VITO business. Het ICT applicatie domein is onderverdeeld in 3rd party apps, open low-code application platform, data analytics & visualization, web content management, M365 apps en internal app development in .Net. Samen met het team zorg je voor een succesvolle coördinatie en uitvoering van projecten en de dagelijkse activiteiten in deze applicatie domeinen.

Een greep uit je takenpakket:

  • Je geeft sturing (inhoudelijk, technisch en organisatorisch) aan de verschillende teamactiviteiten, volgt deze open coacht je medewerkers.
  • Je maakt en beheert het financieel budget van het team. Je neemt de leiding in de opmaak en uitwerking van aankoopdossiers.
  • Je ontwikkelt en verbetert processen en werkmethodes in functie van een efficiënte teamwerking.
  • Je leidt projecten (projectplannen opmaken, scope afbakenen, opstarten, begeleiden en evalueren), bepaalt prioriteiten hierin, beheert de project resources (budget, mensen, middelen) en rapporteert hierover.
  • Je blijft actief op de hoogte van ICT trends, exploreert nieuwe ICT technologieën en geeft van hieruit richting aan de evoluties in de domeinen van ICT applicaties.
  • Je verzorgt goede relaties met interne en externe stakeholders. Hierbij schat je zelf in welke taken je best intern kan delegeren en welke taken je zelf voor je rekening neemt. Je sluit compromissen, onder meer met onze externe partners (leveranciers, dienstverleners) met het oog op het versterken van het VITO ICT applicatie landschap.
  • Je rapporteert aan de ICT Manager, maakt deel uit van het ICT management team van de centrale ICT dienst en draagt bij tot het bepalen en de uitvoering van de ICT strategie en evoluties binnen VITO ICT.

Vereiste kwalificaties:

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een IT-gerelateerde richting of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je bent zeer vertrouwd met een enterprise ICT applicatie omgeving met onder meer kennis van hybride omgevingen (on premise & SaaS), data & applicatie management en architectuur, organisatie van design, build & operate activiteiten en best-practices in ICT applicatie security.
  • Je hebt een helikopterview en weet een visie over te brengen. Je hebt een analytische geest, je kan uitdagingen en vraagstukken vanuit verschillende invalshoeken beoordelen en bent innovatief.
  • Je gaat voor excellente resultaten door middel van je overtuigingskracht en communicatievermogen. Je hebt ervaring in het coachen van een team, waarbij je je kan inleven in de persoonlijke situatie van elk teamlid.
  • Kennis van het Nederlands en het Engels is een vereiste.
  • Een pluspunt is de kennis van of ervaring in onder meer volgende applicatie technologieën: Maconomy van Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Tableau, Drupal, MS SQL, M365 met Sharepoint, Teams & PowerApps.
