Performance & Simulation Engineer

Enapter is a rapidly-growing energy technology company with offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. We develop and produce Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers that enable low-cost green hydrogen production at any scale.
We are looking for a CFD Engineer (m/f/d) to join our R&D Modelling and Simulation team in Pisa, Italy. Work in synergy with other team members to organize and complete various thermal and fluid-dynamics design projects;
Assist with the selection, analysis, and development of various components to optimize performance and cost;
Develop CFD heat transfer / thermodynamics / fluid dynamics analysis at stack and system level;
What do you need to help make our goals a reality?
Master\'s degree in energy, mechanical, aerospace engineering or equivalent;
Minimum 5 years of experience in simulation of thermal and fluid-dynamics engineering or equivalent roles;
Understanding of engineering design principles and processes in relevant sectors such as electrochemical devices, automotive, HVAC or energy;
Understanding of devices with heat transfer, porous materials and multiphase fluids;
Advanced knowledge of 3D CFD simulation software such as Star-CCM+ (preferred), Fluent, OpenFOAM or equivalent;
Good command of CAD / CAE tools for simulation pre-processing
Knowledge of programming languages such as Matlab, Python, Java would be advantageous
Fluent English
