Specifically, this new effort is directed towards bridging high-speed wired interfaces with millimeter wave wireless technologies, which will offer ground-breaking and innovative solutions to the consumer, computing, and industrial markets. If you are interested in learning more about this exciting program and become a member of our team, please apply to this job through Workday.**Job Summary**We are looking for world-class mmWave Antenna engineers to work with our experienced design team to implement state of the art mmWave broadband communications ICs.If you have mmWave design expertise, passion for innovation, desire to challenge yourself and want to put your creativity at work, this is a unique opportunity to join the leader in consumer and automotive semiconductors.**Design, develop, optimize, and implement antennas and antenna-in-package modules for millimeter wave wireless technologies.* Hands-on, in the lab verification of millimeter wave measurement test beds and composite channels* Responsible for technical project documentation* Execute assigned tasks within defined timelines* Interface with cross-functional teams to define requirements and features of future products.**Job Qualifications:*** MSEE or PhD degree (preferred) with 15+ years of experience in mmWave Antenna design, modeling, simulation and measurement experience* Prior experience of designing and validating 5G and mmWave antennas and AiP module designs in mobile and computing applications* Deep knowledge of RF and EM simulation tools (e.g. Ansys HFSS, Cadence, Keysight)* Strong technical knowledge in 2D and 3D electromagnetic modeling, transmission line theory, EM propagation, Near field and Far field effects* Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for antenna modeling, simulation, and data analysis* Experience using lab equipment for high-speed characterization – VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc* Deep knowledge with laminate multi-layer manufacturing processes and materials* Strong knowledge of design flows, tools and methodologies* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a pro-active, can-do attitude#LI-7795## Bright Minds.
