Overview As a Network System Engineer, you will design, test, and refine networking and security architectures for robust, verifiable systems. You will work on dedicated testbeds focused on PTP-based synchronization, redundancy, and Layer 2/3 functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align requirements with secure, compliant implementations. You'll lead test campaigns, analyze outcomes, and support Common Criteria certification efforts. Retribuzione / Benefits health insurance welfare programs meal vouchers employee discounts Responsabilità Design, set up, and operate testbeds to verify networking functionality with emphasis on PTP synchronization, redundancy, and Layer 2/3 behavior Prepare test environments, run campaigns, and analyze results Support requirements engineering by defining system and subsystem networking requirements and ensuring proper allocation Integrate cybersecurity requirements ensuring consistency among functional, performance, and security aspects Define and validate configurations of network subsystems including routers, firewalls, and Linux hosts Work on live systems and simulation environments to validate infrastructure behavior under varying conditions Conduct impact analyses for Common Criteria certification, assessing how architecture and implementation affect security requirements and documentation Requisiti fondamentali At least six years of experience troubleshooting network and security issues CISCO CLI VLAN NTP Firewall (iptables) Routing protocols Network redundancy protocols CLI Bash scripting Linux networking Virtualization Documentation standards (MIL-STD-498) Doors NG CISCO CLI VLAN NTP Firewall (iptables) Routing protocols Network redundancy protocols
