Responsibilities

• Assist in the review of contractor’s drawings, method statements and test procedures to ensure compliance to requirements and project specifications.
• Monitor and coordinate electrical works, including evaluation of construction methodology being implemented for the works.
• Prepare inspection reports and evaluate the results of quality tests conducted for each equipment, structure or system.
• Monitor and review actual project progress and accomplishments. If delays are observed, recommend catch-up scheme to ensure project schedules are met.
• Evaluate acceptability of the installations in reference to the design criteria.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance to project specifications and issue non-conformance reports as necessary.
• Coordinate and interface with other disciplines or work streams to ensure appropriate planning and scheduling of works and resources.
• Attend regular meetings (i.e. daily, weekly, and monthly) to coordinate and resolve project issues.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all contractors’ personnel to safety policies and procedures, environmental guidelines and security regulations.
• Perform the function and role of a Nominated Supervisor under the EDC Safety Rules.
• Conduct inspections to verify outstanding works or deliverables to the contractor for inclusion in the punch list.
• Review and check manuals, red-line drawings and As-built drawings submitted by the Contractors.
• Perform other project-related works as may be necessary.
