The Application Engineer provides direct technical support to customers and the Sales net, offering expertise on product and application information, selection of standard products, and preparation of quotations. The role also includes assembling multi-product offers and supporting the Sales net during the negotiation phase. Consolidate multi-brand project offers.
Review technical specifications of public tenders, select appropriate products, and prepare technical and commercial quotations to achieve competitive scoring.
Collaborate with Segment Product Managers and local commercial Product Managers to define the most profitable solution for complex projects.
Support Product Managers and the Sales Team by delivering product and application training sessions to the Sales net and customers.
Assist the Sales net in the field during inspections or presentations of complex quotations to customers.
Report on market trends for Product Managers as the main interface between Sales net and the product teams.
Provide the Operations Department with the necessary inputs for part-number finalization and proper order processing.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities.
Fluent in English and Italian.
A good knowledge of French or any other language is considered a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
