On-Site Service Technician – Sannazzaro (Pavia)

This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

- Installing and maintaining Continuous Emission Monitoring System and carrying out repair and preventive maintenance.
- Preparing the service reports and records that are necessary for the quality of service.
- Supporting sales on service offers for revamping/upgrading and spare parts on systems.
- Dealing with technical on-site intervention during on-call service availability that could be overnight or during weekends.
- Performing site works following service plan according to ABB’s technical, commercial and health & safety standards.

Qualifications for the role

  • Diploma in Electric or Electronic field.
  • Min 3 year experience in service.
  • Experience in Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, Oil & Gas or Power Plant market will be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge on maintaining Continuous Emission Monitoring System.
  • Proficiency in various service and test methodologies, relevant in-house and industrial standards related to Measurement Products Analytical and Service.
  • Willing to travel for frequent short or medium duration missions (including abroad) and have ability and skill to manage proactively the customer relationship and critical situations.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Able to manage work with autonomy and to work in a team.
  • Able to manage on-call service and follow on-site intervention depending on schedule 24h/365 days.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Italian and good English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite.
