We are looking for a Early Childhood Assistant with experience to join our team starting in September

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities by also taking initiative and suggesting various activities.
Assist the lead teacher in preparing the activities before class begins (preparing materials and organizing learning materials and resources, organizing centers, photocopying).
Assist the lead teacher in decorating the classroom appropriately and on a regular basis. Bulletin boards, displaying student work, reorganizing the play centres. 
Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging learning experiences.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime (indoor and outdoors) meals, rest periods, and naptime, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
Assist in accompanying students to the bathroom and help with personal hygiene when necessary, promoting independence while ensuring their well-being.
Help with classroom management by reinforcing positive behaviour and conflict resolution strategies.
With guidance from the lead teacher, observe and document children’s progress, behaviours, and needs.
Provide individualized attention and support to children as needed.
