Customs Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Manage the opening and renewal of the Customs Authorities.
• Manage and maintain AEO authorization and follow up on related audits and reviews by the Customs Agency.
• Manage and monitor the proper operation of import and export operations of finished goods.
• Manage and monitor the proper operations carried out by operators in bonded warehouses.
• Manage the Special Rules and bank guarantees in collaboration with Treasury.
• Manage the "Classification of Goods" and deal with the request/predisposition of the Certificates of Origin.
• Care about the relative affiliations of the inspections carried out by customs officials in the production units and at the headquarters.
• Carry out training activities with colleagues of the headquarters and the plants in relation to the regulations in force.
• Maintain contacts with external offices such as Customs, Ministries, Associations.
• Coordinate Customs Specialists by providing them all necessary support for training and professional growth.

Key Relationships

Internal: Group Tax Director, Group Tax & Transfer Pricing Coordinator, Tax Manager, Plant Director, Plant Excise & Customs Coordinator, Excise specialist, Logistics Manager.
External: Customs offices.

Experience Required

Experience in consumer goods industries is a must, preferably within the spirits category. Experience in managing teams with functional reporting lines.

• Knowledge of business processes and risks concerning the handling of finished products and raw materials subject to customs.
