Assembly Engineer

MTA S.p.A - Assembly Engineer MTA S.p.A is looking for a resource to join the Engineering department, within the Electrical Business Unit, in the role of Assembly Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities in the MTA assembly lines worldwide: Feasibility analysis of new products Definition of budgets and technical specifications of assembly machines and equipment Concept definition and assembly technologies PFMEA analysis before drafting and updates Technical verification of assembly equipment projects Supplier management of assembly lines and project advancements Monitoring the efficiency and performance of assembly plants Testing and support for the installation of plants/assembly lines, coordination and training of the project team, in Italy and abroad Definition of maintenance plans and spare parts lists with plant suppliers Support for Italian or foreign production departments in resolving process issues of new plants "Continuous Improvement" activities for existing plants Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Previous experience in automatic/semi-automatic assembly lines (design/testing) preferred Knowledge of accessory components of assembly machines, Electrical and Pneumatic Schematics, Sensors, PLC, Screwdrivers, Vision Systems, and Robots Familiarity with major 3D CAD systems: CREO Parametrics, Inventor Good command of English Flexibility and availability for travel, especially during business trips Availability for European and non-European trips lasting a maximum of 2/3 weeks Skills: Initiative, dynamism, proactive attitude Problem-solving skills Adaptability Team spirit and ability to work in and coordinate heterogeneous teams Location: Codogno (LO), with the possibility of 8 days of smart working per month. #J-18808-Ljbffr
