Overview
In this role you lead the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with ABB's procedures, quality standards, and financial targets. You will collaborate with the Project Controls team, manage risks, and drive efficient resource use and stakeholder communication. The position emphasizes contract management, procurement, and formal project close-out, with a hybrid work model and international travel. You will shape project outcomes that support ABB's mission to run what runs the world.

Responsabilità
- Define project scope and financial plans with Project Controls, including schedule and risk plans
- Monitor progress, resource utilization, and project financials (invoicing, costs, cash flow)
- Identify and manage risks; pursue opportunities
- Capture lessons learned and formally close projects
- Drive contract close-out and customer acceptance
- Ensure contract and claims management per ABB policies; procure services/materials/equipment
- Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, changes, and customer escalation
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders; communicate effectively
Requisiti fondamentali
- Engineering background with 5+ years in Project Management
- Knowledge in automation, electrical and hydro power systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance)
- Experience with PM tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- PM certifications a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA)
- Italian and English proficiency
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
