Location: Center for Human Technology, Genoa, Italy
At IIT, we are committed to advancing human-centered Science and Technology to address the most urgent societal challenges of our era. We foster excellence in both fundamental and applied research, spanning fields such as neuroscience and cognition, humanoid technologies and robotics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and material sciences, offering a truly interdisciplinary scientific experience. You will be working in the Data Science and Computation Facility coordinated by Dr. The candidate will be the main system administrator of four HPC clusters with a total of about 360 GPUs. being the main system administrator of the HPC IIT infrastructure.
- Manage/develop monitoring and accounting systems (e.g. power consumption, per user core hours, statistics).
- Interact with IIT users to support software installation and troubleshooting.
- Interact with the ICT department to ensure the full interoperability of systems.
- Write and update the internal documentation wiki.
- Interact with vendors and oversee HPC systems installation and repair.
- Master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or related disciplines.
- Linux system administration knowledge.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- Two days of teleworking per week and flexible working hours are available
- Candidate holding a bachelor's or master's degree who have not been resident in Italy in the last 3 years and move back to Italy to start any work activity, and meet specific requirements, can benefit from a 50% deduction on their income.
