Overview Join Nokia's Microwave R&D team in Vimercate as a Graduate Microwave Test Engineer. You will validate microwave products and learn to design, test, and automate telecom systems in a collaborative, international setting. You'll develop expertise in networking, radio technologies, Python, and AI-driven testing. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment with a clear path to grow in hardware, software, and system testing. Retribuzione / Benefits Flexible and hybrid working schemes Maternity and paternity leave Life insurance Well-being programs Nokia Employee Resource Groups (NERGs) Career growth and coaching/mentors Responsabilità Define and execute test plans for hardware, software, and system features Build and maintain test environments and lab setups Develop automated test scripts using Python Leverage AI-assisted tools to generate and improve test cases and automation scripts Analyze test results, logs, and protocol traces to support root-cause investigations Collaborate with software/firmware engineers and system architects Learn networking technologies, Ethernet protocols, and network management systems Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts Basic programming skills, preferably in Python Curiosity for new technologies and willingness to learn Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Proficiency in Italian Good communication skills in English Curiosity and willingness to learn Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset Team collaboration and communication Python programming IP networking concepts Knowledge of wireless or radio communication systems (nice to have)
