This position reports to: Procurement Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also apply your skills in supporting the identification of new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team. Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. Verifying external capacity of all suppliers and approaching new ones on the market. Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal valueQualifications for the roleYou hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Economy. Previous experience in Operations area would be considered a plus;Negotiation skills would be considered a plus;You are at ease communicating in English and Italian;Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus. Good knowledge of MS Office (excel, access, word, ppt);Good knowledge of digital tools (Power BI, etc..) Knowledge of main Mechanical technologies used in industrial processes would be a nice to have;Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage different tasks, good communication skills.
