Job Title: DBA / Technical Architect (Freelance Opportunity)
Location: Full Remote (Occasional travel if required)
Languages: English (mandatory), Italian (preferred), (Spanish or French a plus).
Engagement: Freelancing

We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) / Technical Architect to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves designing robust database architectures, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting critical business applications.

Design and implement database architecture for high availability and scalability.
Manage database administration tasks : installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Ensure data security , backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Provide technical guidance on infrastructure and integration projects.
Strong expertise in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
Experience with database performance tuning , indexing, and query optimization.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tools .
Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes .

Location: Remote (authorized teleworking), occasional presence in Milan/Turin.
Languages: Fluent English (Spanish or French a plus).
Freelance / third‑party consultants welcome.
No travel required.
