We’re seeking passionate Educators and Lead Educators to join our friendly team. Part-time and full-time roles are available, and we’re happy to work with your availability.
At John Paul College Early Learning Centre (ELC), our educators enjoy a supportive and rewarding work environment where your efforts are valued and recognised.
We offer above-award pay rates for both part-time and full-time roles, based on your qualifications and experience:
Certificate III Educators – $30.81 per hour
Diploma Qualified Educators – $32.52 per hour
Lead Educators – $35.26 per hour
Consistent rosters and a two-week closure at Christmas
Discounted tuition fees at John Paul College for staff children
Professional learning opportunities for every educator, not just lead roles
Complimentary on-campus OSHC for staff children
A friendly, experienced and well-respected team of educators
Our ELC is known for its strong and supportive leadership under Head of Early Education, Mrs Leanne Zammit, who is highly regarded for her professionalism, care and genuine focus on staff wellbeing.
You will play an important part in providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child can grow and thrive.
As part of our ELC team, our Educators:
Help develop and deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program
Build trusting, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Promote the College within the local community and uphold our vision, mission and values
Lead Educator responsibilities also include:
Providing educational leadership and guidance to your team
Mentoring educators and supporting their growth
Ensuring programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
We are a long day care service, and we work together to provide consistent, high-quality experiences for children throughout the day. We offer flexibility for educators who are looking for part-time or varied hours while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
You are an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated educator who enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.
A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying towards one)
A caring, positive attitude and genuine love for working with young children
Previous experience working in Early Childhood Education
Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and its application in early learning
Commitment to the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Experience in educational leadership or mentoring (for Lead Educators)
