Who We Are
We are seeking a Senior or Lead Technical Architect / Software Architect with a strong product and platform mindset, able to translate business and product needs into executable, scalable and sustainable architectures and technical solutions. The role will provide technical leadership to one squad and coordinate decisions, dependencies and standards with other squads and technical stakeholders.
The profile should be primarily focused on architecture, design, technical reviews and solution definition, with sufficient engineering judgement and depth to drill into implementation where required.
The candidate must bring cloud-native experience across Azure, Kubernetes and Docker, solid CI/CD practices, and an end-to-end understanding of backend and frontend architecture. A core requirement is knowledge of AI agents and product-oriented agentic ecosystems, including harnesses, tools, MCP and Semantic Kernel, together with an up-to-date view of the leading AI capabilities and products in the market.
What You'll Be Doing
Define the target architecture and technical solutions for the platform/product, including components, integrations, interfaces, deployment and key design decisions Translate functional and non-functional requirements into patterns, standards and technical decisions that engineering teams can implement Provide technical leadership to one squad, setting architecture, design and technical direction, and coordinate effectively with other squads to resolve dependencies and maintain consistency across solutions Establish lightweight and effective technical governance mechanisms: architecture reviews, ADRs, standards, guardrails, quality gates and technical acceptance criteria Carry out architecture/design reviews, technical analysis of components, APIs and integrations, and validation of solutions proposed by the squad The role is not focused on day-to-day implementation, but requires sufficient technical depth to review decisions, identify risks and guide concrete solutions Design or evolve cloud-native architectures on Azure using Kubernetes and Docker, considering resilience, scalability, security, operability and cost Define and improve CI/CD practices, delivery lifecycle automation, quality gates, artefact management and promotion between environments Maintain an end-to-end view of backend and frontend architecture, even when implementation is distributed across different teams or technologies Design and/or oversee product capabilities based on AI agents, tool use, orchestration and agent harnesses, including integration with existing systems and APIs Assess emerging AI ecosystem capabilities and translate them into practical product innovation opportunities Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Platform/Dev Ops, Security and other architects to ensure technical decisions support product objectives Raise the technical standard of the squad through architecture and design reviews, technical mentoring and clear quality criteria, promoting team autonomy and alignment with other technical leaders What You'll Bring Along Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience Strong background in architecture and technical leadership
Software Architecture: solution design, APIs, integrations, NFRs and architectural patterns
Full-Stack Development: strong backend expertise and solid understanding of frontend architectures Python & Type Script: hands-on experience in modern software and AI solutions CI/CD & Cloud-Native: automated pipelines, containers and Kubernetes Agentic AI: hands-on knowledge of AI agents, orchestration, tool calling, MCP and Semantic Kernel AI Engineering: LLM/RAG integration, evaluation, observability and production readiness Azure / AKS and Infrastructure as Code Technical Leadership: squad leadership, architecture ownership and cross-team coordination
