Job Description

Due to the continued success and expansion of our Industrial, Science and Tech business in Milan, we are interested in speaking with Associate Directors (Project Management) with a proven background in Hi-Tech construction projects and programmes of work. Your track record will have seen you manage at least one large scale project from one of the following subsectors: Data Centers, Pharma / Life Sciences, Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics or similarly complex asset class.

Tasks:

  • Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
  • Develop working relationships, problem solve, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Manage the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations.
  • Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction problems.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting.
  • Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track.
  • Chair project meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Engage with marketing and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Architecture.
  • Professional memberships desirable.
  • 10 years’ experience managing large scale projects in the Data Center, Industrial, Pharma, Manufacturing, or Logistics sectors.
  • Strong and current understanding of European design/code requirements and industry trends.
  • Experience in a variety of methods of procurement and forms of contract.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Italian as well as a professional level of English.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients.
