Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer at Littelfuse, you will drive continuous improvement across production processes, resolving issues and supporting the team to boost efficiency, yield, and product quality. You'll advance lean transformation on the shop floor and service levels, contributing to safety, delivery, and cost performance. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement automation and AI-driven improvements in a fast-paced, global environment. This role offers the chance to shape manufacturing processes for new products and scalable solutions.

Responsabilità
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to resolve process-related issues and minimize downtime
Own line performance in safety, quality, and efficiency metrics
Analyze production deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions
Apply lean tools to eliminate waste and improve flow
Prepare technical reports, update work instructions, and maintain documentation
Identify and support automation projects for cost reduction and capacity expansion
Collaborate with product development on cost estimation and new manufacturing processes
Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance processes through automation and AI-driven improvements
Requisiti fondamentali
~3+ years in manufacturing engineering or related role with automatic assembly processes (e.g., pick & place, automatic feeders, pallet lines, 6-axis/SCARA robots)
~ Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
~ Understanding of PLC systems is a plus
~ Familiar with lean tools and CI methodologies
~ Strong time management and problem-solving skills
~ Detail-oriented with good organizational skills in a fast-paced, multicultural setting
~ Open-minded and proactive in proposing ideas and improvements
~ Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
~ Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
