Overview In this role you enable ABB to align its architecture landscape across domains, ensuring coherent, scalable, and secure integration patterns. You set strategic direction and guardrails for APIs, events, messaging, and platform integration, translating ABB goals into an actionable integration roadmap. You work at enterprise level, collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance delivery speed and local autonomy, with a clear impact on ABB's long-term vision. Responsabilità Direct enterprise integration strategy and processes to embed change across the organization Develop and maintain ABB-wide architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines Assess current IT environment and shape a future-state architecture aligned with strategy Oversee architectural reviews of new designs and monitor compliance across ABB Flag cross-ABB planning and roadmapping implications for the architecture landscape Requisiti fondamentali ~10+ years in architecture roles with strong enterprise integration experience in large, decentralized organizations ~ Background in API-led and event-driven architectures at scale ~ Experience operating in governance-heavy environments without slowing delivery ~ Technical expertise in API Management (REST, GraphQL, Async APIs), messaging and integration platforms, hybrid/multi-cloud integration, domain-driven design, security patterns for integration ~ Strong understanding of EA domains (business, application, data, technology) ~ Ability to see the big picture while maintaining deep technical expertise and executing ~ Strategic thinking paired with execution focus ~ Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills to explain decisions to executives and engineering teams ~ communication ~ influencing ~ facilitation ~ API Management (REST, GraphQL, Async APIs) ~ messaging and integration platforms ~ hybrid and multi-cloud integration
