CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The UNESCO Chair in Interdisciplinary Anticipation and Global-Local Transformation, located at the Center for Advanced Studies of Eurac Research, an interdisciplinary Social Sciences research institution of European outreach, is now accepting applications for its annual UNESCO Chair Fellowship.
This work centers on UNESCO global priorities and its 2022-2029 strategy, connecting the Fellow's personal experiences and research with the expertise of both the Chair and the Center.
This Fellowship focuses on addressing future social, political and economic challenges, exploring ways to tackle these issues through UNESCO Futures Literacy and other UNESCO approaches and tools. It will be conducted online, with the possibility of 1–2 short visits at the Center for Advanced Studies in Bolzano (Italy). Eligibility is restricted to private individuals who are citizens of EU member states and are not registered for VAT purposes. We particularly encourage applications from women and individuals belonging to other under‑represented groups in academic research.
Writing a short Research Paper on a topic relevant to the UNESCO Chair, to be agreed upon at the beginning of the fellowship and submitted before its conclusion;
During the Fellowship, the Fellow will have the opportunity to get to know the UNESCO Chair team and any ongoing projects. Very good knowledge of written and oral English;
