Senior Forward Deployed AI Scientist, Operations

Overview

In this role, you will build an AI-powered suite to transform how large, complex capital projects are understood and managed. You will work with diverse teams to design and deploy AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact. You'll bridge data science, AI, and real-world decision making to optimize project delivery and risk management. Responsabilità

• Frame business challenges and design AI/analytics solutions for capital projects
• Develop, test, and deploy AI-driven tools to predict outcomes, risks, and performance drivers
• Collaborate with consultants, operations experts, and client teams to deliver measurable impact
• Translate complex analyses into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications and conferences
• Lead/participate in cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders
• Engage in ongoing client-facing work and mentoring within the team

Requisiti fondamentali

• Master's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• 4–7 years of relevant experience
• Experience applying data science, ML, optimization, or simulation to business problems with clear impact
• Experience or strong knowledge of large capital projects, including planning, scheduling, and optimization
• Knowledge of Operations & Optimization methodologies for supply chain, engineering, procurement, and cost optimization
• Strong Python programming skills; experience with optimization tools (Gurobi, OR-Tools, Pyomo) a plus
• Knowledge of Primavera or similar project management software; BIM familiarity a plus
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Client-facing experience, collaborative within diverse teams, with leadership potential
