Join to apply for the Area Manager role at Energizer Holdings Develop Energizer strategic goals into the South region, managing Customers directly and via local Agents sales force.
Negotiate Regional and local listings and services, and lead customers business plans in the pursuit of increasing revenues over years and maximising customers' Net Sales and Gros Margin.
Business Management
Drive the area sales force to achieve net sales and gross margin targets within the territory/customers assigned in line with annual and strategic objectives and budgets set by Head of Sales.
Regularly review area performance against targets and refine as necessary with area sales force
Lead & conduct annual agents target reviews and set up strategic business plans dedicated to each agent
Consistently use Category Management based customer proposals in order to achieve optimum share of space and promotional activity for all the brands.
Provide Accurate Forecasts to the business.
Manage promotional activity by owning the planning, delivery and post evaluation of promotions and recommending any improvements to deliver better return on future promotional investment.
Develop relationships & working practices with external & internal customers and agents as long as Category Manager, Brand Activator, KAMs and other services to get alignment and focus to exceed customer needs.
Coach and advise local agents to ensure best achievement of customers business plans.
Educated to 'degree' level or attained a professional qualification in business/commercial management
Fluent in English, oral and written - essential
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience, in a commercial environment – managing Key Accounts, sales man and or agents.
Tested successful negotiation skills and P&L responsibility.
Collaborative, open, creative to find solutions together with the retailer
