Capgemini Engineering is looking for an Embedded Software Solution Architect whose main responsibility will be to develop and deliver engineering software solutions.

The Software Solution Architect is a central role in the CoE (Center of Excellence) whose organization is aimed at solutioning, delivering, and evolving Capgemini’s added value offering.

You are a proven and enthusiastic Technical Leader and Software Architect with a passion for software solutions capable of inspiring our clients and delivery teams, as well as convincing others to support you in achieving your objectives.

You will understand our client needs, assess their current software solutions, challenge, and provide strategic architectural leadership. You will use our global offering to build compelling solutions, trusting with our clients during the sales lifecycle.

YOUR ROLE

You will be integrated into the embedded software engineering CoE (Center of Excellence) team with the following responsibilities:

  • Support the Pre-sales team to manage technical solutions for RFQ.
  • Analyze market trends and the technological landscape to evolve the offering and propose new trends and high-end technologies.
  • Support qualifying prospection meetings to present and position the offer portfolio throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Support the definition of sales pipeline and go-to-market planning.
  • Work actively in leading and deploying strategic projects.
  • Monitor and propose improvement planning to meet project financial targets.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A higher education degree in software engineering with practical experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with client-facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.
  • Proven experience and extended networking in at least one of the following markets: Railway, Life Science, Aerospace & Defense.
  • Experience in handling different client organizations, business lines & environments.
  • Outstanding communicator (written and verbal) and networker.
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
  • Experience working in an international context.
  • A developed understanding of project planning and budgeting.
  • Leading complex and high-value engagements from pre-sales to project awarding.
  • Knowledge of distributed software solutions to build large-scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies on full stack embedded software development.
  • Ability to manage project financial KPIs and targets.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in modern software technologies, architectures, testing, data processing solutions, automated deployment pipelines, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern paradigms for CD/CI, Agile, and quality assurance.
  • Strategic & Transformation Consulting.
  • Knowledge of automotive, energy, or equivalent sectors.
