Position Senior Designer Location Schio (VI) Type On-site Availability Full time Role description We are looking for a Senior Designer with proven experience in the mechanical design of hydroelectric turbines. The candidate will mainly be responsible for preliminary design and the drafting of feasibility studies, based on technical specifications provided internally or by external studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the preliminary profile of the machine (turbine) and developing the 2 D drawings necessary to set up the basic mechanical study. 3 D modelling will subsequently be handled by other team members. Main responsibilities Development of feasibility studies and preliminary designs for hydroelectric turbines. 2 D technical drawing of the machine and main components. Analysis and interpretation of technical specifications provided by customers or external studies. Collaboration with the technical team and 3 D designers for project development. Verification of the technical and functional consistency of the project with respect to company and product standards. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in the design of hydroelectric turbines or similar machines. Excellent knowledge of the product and its components (distributor, covers, bearings, etc.). Proficiency in Auto CAD (experience with other 3 D software is not required). Ability to work independently and manage the preliminary stages of a project. Good knowledge of English (international working environment). What do we offer?
