- Field Service Engineer (Vacuum Technique Service) Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and solving technical challenges At Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco Group, we’re looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our Europe General Vacuum Customer Center, to help drive the growth of our Vacuum Technique Service program by ensuring our customers receive outstanding support every time. You will be based close to the Piemonte region (Piemonte (Torino
- Novara
- Asti) , and willing to travel to customer sites across the region. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of customer satisfaction—providing timely, hands-on service that keeps equipment running smoothly and efficiently. Whether it's troubleshooting, repairs, installations, or technical demonstrations, your expertise will help minimize downtime, reduce costs, and showcase the full potential of our products. Deliver high-quality field service, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning, while representing our vacuum brands. Follow SOPs to perform preventive maintenance effectively. Build strong customer relationships and identify on-site business opportunities. Communicate service activities clearly via reports, emails, and calls. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide tailored customer solutions. Occasionally support workshop repairs in line with Edwards standards Qualifications & Experience Vocational training in mechanical or maintenance engineering (required); electrical engineering (preferred) Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance, ideally with vacuum pumps Strong mechanical and electrical expertise Background in industrial service roles Customer-focused with strong communication skills Professional, efficient, and accurate work ethic Fluent in English (spoken and written) Comfortable interacting with customers We believe that people make it happen and with us you are empowered to act.
