We are looking for a Scientific Assistant to work in the Animal Health Team. Retribuzione annua: 28000€ - 34000€ Esperienza: 1 anno Requirements Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level); Previous experience in animal health, biosecurity, epidemiology, disease control, risk assessment; Bachelor's or Master's degree in animal health, biosecurity, epidemiology and / or related areas; Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy. Assignment Initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months. Salary Approx. €2259 per month before taxes. Work modalities Office work required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days. Responsibilities Provide technical-scientific support in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data on animal diseases; Contribute to the preparation of scientific opinions and documents on risk assessment and disease control; Support the organization and documentation of working group meetings and expert consultations; Conduct scientific literature reviews (systematic reviews) on specific pathogens or biosecurity measures; Assist in the preparation of communications and presentations on risk assessment findings; Collaborate in the drafting of guidelines and protocols for disease surveillance and management in wildlife; Participate in the reporting process of the EUPAHW project results to relevant stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
