For our client a leading global industrial company that has been setting standards in high-voltage technology for over a century through innovation and quality we are looking for a technically skilled and highly coordinated individual to fill the position of : Test Engineer High Voltage (HV) As a High Voltage Test Engineer you will be responsible for performing electrical tests and quality verifications on high-voltage cables accessories and related components. Responsibilities Perform routine and type tests on HV cables joints and terminations up to 500 kV according to IEC and customer standards. Conduct insulation resistance partial discharge AC / DC withstand and tan δ (loss factor) tests. Prepare and document detailed test reports and ensure traceability of all results. Operate and maintain high-voltage test equipment and measurement systems. Support R&D and production teams with prototype testing and technical investigations. Analyze test data identify deviations and propose corrective actions. Ensure all tests comply with internal safety procedures and laboratory regulations. Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and test system upgrades. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification). Proven experience in high-voltage testing (factory or field testing) of cables transformers or switchgear. Strong knowledge of electrical measurement principles and HV safety standards (IEC IEEE etc.). Familiarity with HV test systems such as resonant test sets impulse generators and PD detectors. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
